Question about Ibara figures

Post by Daigohji »

I'm thinking of getting the Kasumi figure on Play-Asia, but I can't find any mention of the size or scale of any of the Ibara figures. Does anyone know approximately how tall/long they are (I know most are sitting or reclined)? Also, is the paintjob and mould quality good? It looks fine from the photos I've seen, but demo models always have more attention paid to the detail painting than the main production run.

i have the Teresa Rose figure which is about 14cm (5.5 inch) high, so according to this picture:

kasumi will be about 7cm (2.25 inch) in height.[/url]
the quality is very good and the paint is detailled with smooth skin tints/shades and very nice colors which look fitting and somehow vibrant but also natural smooth.

Yes, yes! I have the Teresa and Meidi figures, and I am very happy with them. I agree with rib, they are very good quality figures. BTW, I believe the Lace figure comes with a comic (it'd better, they charge $49.90 for it :x ).
Prosecutedt to the full extent of the jam.

May the lords of the boards forgive my double post :P

My Kasumi figure arrived today, and I must agree that it is of excellent quality. Rib was dead on about the size; it's 7cm tall. Mold quality is great, with well defined detail on the ruffles of the dress and hardly any noticeable lines where the two halves of the mold connect. Even the smallest details of the paintwork are smoothly handled (laces on the dress, pattern on the sleeves, etc). Overall it looks identical in quality to the sample photos on Play-Asia.

I was expecting the underside of Kasumi's long gown to just be a flat surface, but her legs are modelled and painted to the same standard as the rest of the model (she's wearing glossy black knickers, charcoal stockings and high heels, for those who are wondering). Not only that, but the figure separates at the waist so that the skirts can be removed. Without them Kasumi's outfit looks similar to the lingerie style of the other Rose sisters. I think she looks much better with the skirts though

On the whole, an excellent little figure.
