I dropped right trough a mountain and saw a mammoth flying by , still love the game though .
I started out with a double handed long sword but now I only use single handed weapons that I poison , fire from the other hand coupled with dragon shouts .
Awesome !

All that said, I've not run into any substantial glitches. The worst being 'bouncing books' which are so minor, no one has even brought them up. I've been playing on the PS3, and honestly I've run into far less glitches than FO3 and Oblivion.

To be fair, have you ever seen anyone get clubbed by a giant in real life?

How do you know that doesn't actually happen?

SKYRIM GOT EVERYTHING RIGHT

One could make some calculations based on estimates of the player character's mass, giant's club and the impulse exerted by said club - and even with fudging gravitational constants a bit, the player probably shouldn't be sent into orbit with such a strike.

Still funny to watch, so why fix it?

LOL

Just got the extra effect perk when I maxed enchanting. Figure there's a decent chance it will break the game, but it can't be as bad as oblivion, where I made a sword that killed EVERYTHING in 1-2 hits.

If you ordered the PS3 version, then you indeed did a big mistake. That version is broken beyond repair.

Oh noes, it's the PC version... I'm more afraid of the "goodbye realworld, hello immersion"-effect games like this tend to have on me... :P

I haven't played Skyrim yet, but I am really interested in since I love elder's scroll saga. Sure I was let down by Oblivion, cause I thought it was a bigger Morrowind, so I'd like to ask if all the buzz the game is making is true and it is miles ahead Oblivion.

It is a better game than Oblivion, but right now there are glitches that are pissing fans off. I've had no problems but it might be better to wait for patches.

Seriously? We didn't get it in my country. In fact retailers had to import the uk version and only 500 units were imported for all the country. I'm talking about the 360

In case of glitches, you should quick save constantly. Hit wait and pick only an hour. Getting slaughtered by an elder dragon is bad enough but getting wedged between a staircase and the wall with Draugrs shooting at your immobile body is much worse.

I don't recommend doing that on the PS3 version. The PS3 version has a glitch that slows the game down when you have too big of a save.
