Emulation isn't about not buying games. It's about playing old games that are amazing, and aren't available for sale out there.

When I owned a DS, all I played was New Super Mario bros, couldn't really find many other games I was interested in. The PSP however has plenty of shmup collections as well as plenty of fighters and puzzle games. Guilty Gear Judgement, Power Stone collection, Outrun 2006 and Gunpey are currently getting good play from me.

Somebody set up us the bomb! ;)

Come on, now...how many of you out there were thinking the *exact* same thing I was? ;)
Actually, what I was thinking is that the whole topic was an elaborate joke to rile up fanboys on both sides.

Boy or girl?

Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I disappeared off here a long time ago. My daughter is 8 month sold now. Super cute. Can't wait until she's old enough to buy her her own DS :)

Ok Thread update.

Due to financial constraints my Christmas money had to go on serious boring stuff like rent and food (pah!)

however for my Birthday just gone my GF and I decided to go halfers on a DS lite we saw for £50.

games bought so far

Me:
Bangi-O
Tom Clancy's End War

Her:
Nintendogs Dachshund and friends
Pac Pix
Bomberman
Ecolis

Bangi-O, Pac Pix and End War are really good and I hope to get Ketsui DL, Korg DS-10, Advance Wars Dual Strike, and a copy of Gradius Galaxies for GBA fairly soon.

However due to nintendogs my access to the DS at this time is somewhat limited. and my head is being done in by the constant
"Sit Down" "Paw" "Roll Over" "Good Boy" coming from the other room.

For mr_monks,

If you haven't picked up Arika's Ketsui Death Label yet, it's a fine Cave danmaku title worthy of your DS lite handheld. Your gf might get a kick out of it as well. Or you just might have to break down and buy another DS Lite for yourself, right? ^_~

Just last week, I saw that the USA-based Target was selling brand new DS Lites for a mere $100 USD -- that is the cheapest I've personally it sold at retail brand new (it usually sells for the MSRP of $129.99 USD right now). ^_~
