It is 1LC to get to the final boss, just don't bomb and you're fine. I know my guide is absolute shit, my apologies to anyone trying to use it, basically logged my movements around the screen...

I've been motivated to play this again due to the excellent scores that have been put up. I've just had a really weird session: I was playing like a total idiot, dying on the first stage for 5 credits in a row and decided to have one more attempt before jacking it in and I achieved this:



I very nearly reached the final boss with all lives intact and really should've finished with no more deaths but lost a second life just before the last pattern... with two bombs in stock It's weird - I almost feel like the 1LC wouldn't be that hard to achieve now, but around half of my attempts on this game don't even make the default score table

Just getting started on normal mode, lot's of fun when everything comes together, and I've never gotten such a feeling of satisfaction from just getting on the in-game high score table.

BTW, the DM count on my time attack score was 1503.

First time I got through stage 2 death free, got really bomb happy in the second half of 3 though.

Didn't have the greatest stage 2 and the second half of stage 3 still gives me a lot of trouble. Died very early in stage 4. Pretty sure I could crack 3 million if I kept at it, but I think I'm going to put this one down for now. This game is awesome when everything goes well, but amazingly frustrating when things start to go wrong. Gonna end on a high note for now, but I'll probably come back to it eventually.

430ish disco guys in st1, 999 in all the others. Two deaths in stage 4, one to the boss as usual, one death in stage 5 before the boss then managed to luck my way through it with no deaths. this game stresses me out.
