Hate to sound like an idiot, but I have no idea how to do this. I usually wait for a MAMEUI version to come out but I really want to try this out now. What do I do with the .dat and .diff? The instructions on compiling MAME never made much sense to me. :?

Tried Windows SDLMame. The games show up, I can select them, get an expected warning about not being properly emulated and then I get a black screen and that's it.

I remember I had to wait quite a while for the games to initialise in Demul 0.5.7, but not anything like this. Anyone else getting this too?

Just played Espgaluda II. The slowdown is noticeable, especially when there are a lot of enemies and bullets onscreen, but it's not that bad. Shouldn't be long before they run at normal speed and with sound.

This slowdown is a cheating  More easy to play with it. By the way Mushi Sama works slowly than Futari, Ibara Kuro works slowly than Ibara...I dont understand this)

Mushi Ultra actually looks pretty fun from vids unlike Futari Ultra, but that could change once I actually get the chance to play it. I would still wait for it to be perfect though which is why I never bothered trying to emulate the PS2 version.

Futari 1.00 would be pretty interesting to try out since I don't think 1.01 will actually be emulated.

Outside of that, I'm not interested in the Ibaras, and I already own Deathsmiles, and ESPGaluda II for the 360.
Afaik it works the same way as futari 1.00, you need 200 points or something for ultra and 1ccing original gives 1 point and maniac 2.
I thought you had to enter some code to unlock it in Futari 1.0?

For science, I overclocked my quadcore to hell & back; the gameplay doesn't really improve on a faster CPU.

Wooooh!!!!!If before it was too close for comfort then where is it now?
Those MAMEdevs are throwing caution to the wind eh? And yeah if Ketsui is anything to go by we'll soon have sound :D
Maybe this will also catalyze the Demul team into an emulation race.
Was pleased to find a MAMEUI0.143u7 out there so now just holding out for DFK and Illvelo :D :D

Just for the fun of it could somebody please remind us why we shouldn't be downloading and playing these roms, preferably from the moral highground and in capital letters with derogatory references to the homeless and chemically dependent if possible.
Thanks...

Ibara!
Will I ever understand it? Not that I tried really hard. PS2 port being what it is.
The rear gate is closed down
The way out is cut off

To be fair, even some older titles do have ports that are still in print. But original arcade versions that have had their 5+ years from MAME are fair.

Ibara Black label has plenty of boobs, and considering your recent YouTube uploads I think you'd like those.

And by the way, as I go to download the new version I'm reminded of this:

Wait, so Observer wasn't joking when he said that MMP is added?

I'm confused. o.O

Looks like MMP is on there too. I haven't tested anything and no point if it runs slow. But I didn't think MAME was gonna make it so quick.
And I wonder how it will be on MAME 144 :)

heh. Sorry, the mood of the thread forces me to joke and put nonsense. Ironically, this was actually serious. The post was edited like 10 minutes later to remove any traces but, we saw what they did there.

I think 2011 might be one of the best Christmas ever before 2012 and the Apocalypse but, at the rate things are going, All Saints Day might be the right date.

Their might be a code too like the ones to unlock the 2 other deathsmiles, but i dont know it.

Also i ask again, does anyone know how to open the service menu up in galuda, futari, mushi and deathsmiles?
