ProjectAKo wrote:Haha, nice. I would love to contact certain people, like HKR (turbo force, sw2, other old games) and 説教MLK (many games, Shippu Mahou Daisakusen, etc) but I don't think they use twitter at all. I searched quite a while on japanese websites but I couldn't find out how to contact them.
I not have twitter link for these 2 players, but I doubt about them are again players active in Twitter or other way. Last score published in Arcadia from MLK is played in 2000 and last score for HKR is played in 1996.

Corrections to the community records for Dodonpachi (credits to Despatche for splitting up the scores by ship type):

Type B:
Prales - 235,005,500 - 2-4 - 647 hit

Type C:
Erppo - 380,744,100 - ALL - 838 hit

Edit: Also, there's a higher score for Strikers 1945 w/ P-51 from TRP-STGT:
chaos - 906,800 - 2-2 - 1P - P-51 - Shmupmame 4.2

And Battle Bakraid Normal course should be my own score:
Shepardus - 72,666,310 - Flame Viper (S) - ALL

Those SDOJ Inbachi scores... are they all clears? I was told before that Arcadia only accepts clears, but I've never heard about anyone actually beating Inbachi either, so I am not sure which of those two pieces of knowledge is wrong here.

AEX is not dead, VP1NV 14.9M. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7FZi1lo_N4

VP1 needs a CAVE-style split, New Version is totally a Black Label. It seems the original is actually harder, though?

The way I've heard it, Arcadia ranks stage over score, which is why for most games they only accept clears because a clear is always going to be worth more than a non-clear. If nobody's cleared it, though, then non-clears will be accepted.

Got the first place for Dragon Saber around here:

Perikles - 1,321,610 - ALL

According to the link ProjectAKo posted (thanks a lot for that!) we could also add three more games:

A.I./Atlus

BlaZeon

World: J.G.K-ALL - 4,761,300 - ALL - Autofire ON
Community: Perikles - 3,013,000 - ALL - Autofire ON

Data East

Skull Fang (Chase Mode)

World: MAJU? - 30.132.600 - SIF - ALL (I'd think so at least)
Community: Perikles - 18.392.000 - Seylen-EX - ALL

Nihon System

Sky Smasher

World: EXL-RVS-GUN - 10.000.000+α - Autofire ON
Community: Perikles - 1.553.270 - Autofire ON

World: NOJ - 10.000.000+α - Autofire OFF
Community: Baron Rojo - 1.385.330 - Autofire OFF

Couldn't find Section Z there, unfortunately, someone must have gotten 10m at that, too. I'm also surprised by the BlaZeon WR, I really ought to check out how that's possible, I never thought I missed that many points. :o I figured Air Buster suffers from ugly milking, but there must be some secret with the boss counter in BlaZeon...

There's probably god knows how many unknown and forgotten tricks used to get that score, but sometimes you can find a good video on niconicovideo.

Getting 100% destruction on a stage gives 100k plus another bonus 100k if I remember rightly. Aside from that it's porbably worth more to milk the third bosses' orbs than speedkill it because they're worth 5,000 each.

Thanks for the input, guys! :) It must be pretty tricky to get a full destruction rate for the last two stages (many little turrets all over the screen which probably requires some risky stunts to take all of them out) but I just might take a look at that in due time. Milking the third (and maybe even the first?) boss for a few additional points would be indeed a splendid idea, too. I wonder if they time out once the counter reaches 0?

SDOJ C-Expert (regular/no hibachi route)
Bananamatic - 1,099,134,189,084 - 5-Boss - ON(X360)

by the way, if I get a hibachi clear now, which one do I get listed? according to arcadia hibachi goes over score
and if I haven't cleared, does this even go over my previous lower scoring clear?

I'd list score over clear because that's the way we've always done it on this forum. I don't think there are any threads that prioritize clears here.

I know you want separate listings, but I'd like to hear other people chime in. Do folks want 27 SDOJ scores?

Something better for Lifeforce:

Perikles - 1,673,900 - 4-1

And since I was curious about it I looked up E.D.F., too (I referred to ProjectAKo's link from above).

I think two of the scores for Shippu Mahou Daisakusen may be wrong; I noticed that 3 of them were the exact same value (2,249,007), so I checked this site and found that these two are different than what's listed here, and the player for the Miyamoto score is different. Copy-paste error?

Bul-Gin: G.M.C.説教T.H(的) - 2,044,117

Miyamoto: 説教MLK - 2,262,137

Yeah, forgot to change them after the copy-paste.

chempop, nice to see you taking on various ship type records. That's what I hope we see more of with the updated rankings.

Thanks, I know they are not great scores, but the 2nd loop is damning to me.

Gamest and Arcadia didn't keep track of separate ships, so it'll be hard to find good info.

Speaking of that, if anyone has the other WRs for sonic wings limited I want 'em, but the game was too unpopular to even have more than 1 score

Sonic Wings Limited is a unpopolar game. However Gamest magazine has received more than 90% score made with Mao Mao, so they decided to not diversify ranking for ship.

I have tried to watch Gamest magazine 30-05-97, 30-06-97, 30-07-97 and I found:

2,025,300 (F-14)
1,747,800 (F117)
