Thanks a lot, the updated guide is a bit more detailed and will definitely help new installers.

Could you please have a look at the issue I'm having, reported in the previous post? Since I did the post I reopened my N64, checked all connections and cut the track deeper, but the issue still persists.

Video at 50 Hz has more lines... set you processor to PAL (50 Hz) and it will work normally.

I'm curious. Will this RGB board also work with your Component Daughter-Board for the NESRGB? (Pull Y off the AV connector)

I've done a few of these installs for customers now. The install instructions are great. But I do have to warn people ... and it's now documented:

"The AVDC-NUS and MAV-NUS chips have a pin spacing of 0.8mm."

0.8mm spacing is REALLY REALLY small. This is not an install for a beginner! It's many times more difficult than something like the NESRGB for example. If you don't have the appropriate tools or skills, have a professional install it for you!

No. The N64RGB uses a THS7374 to buffer RGBS. Tim has mentioned before that the N-C requires a RGB encoder to work.

No kidding! I need to go buy a fresh pair of cutters today! :)

Thanks for your reply. I see, but then why am I able to do that with my NESRGB, SNES and Megadrive, with the image ending up centered and getting rid of the top/bottom black bars, and not with the N64RGB? Is there any particular difference in how RGB is generated?
