As expected, the Sound Collection was an Amazon pre-order bonus.

Are the soundtrack cd's the same ones that were included in the LE releases, or are they the original ones sold separately? Thanks.

The soundtracks included in the LE's were the arranged soundtracks. These are the original soundtracks.

Lies, lies, lies.. haha.. CAVE doesn't even have a webshop anymore. And what is a "Cave premium member", anyhow?
I ordered 15 sets from Amazon.jp, and ALL came with the soundtrack CDs. This is the second goof I've heard about Eurotaku concerning this box set.

Not only yours, but for everyone.

If that “NCSX” site says is doing it, most probably isn’t true!

Those sound tracks exist, but it’s a special privilege gift for Cave premium members who could order from their web shop in Japan.
… only a few CD’s were delivered (I heard, less than 20), but unfortunately none among us (resellers, wholesalers, distributors) could get it.

I emailed Eurotaku about not receiving the soundtracks and this was the reply:

David,

As we suspected, there was NO “bonus” SOUND TRACK included with ANY of the CAVE Shooting Collection.

I'd be really angry about this, it sounds like a straight up lie.

I think some Deathsmiles, Mushi and Muchi Pork/Pink were not installed by the dlc disc. I say this because I have dlc for those games first print on my hdd and when I installed from the disc, they were not present after the install (I installed to USB to compare). Is it cause those first print dlc got bundled on the game disc itself ? I'm sick today and I didn't feel like playing anything today, so I didn't bother to boot the games to confirm.
It seems that the install all thing doesn't quite work, I did it twice and had this problem. If you go back and manually select stuff it works fine, I went back and manually selected everything on the list without a picture and now I have Pork Matsuri and other random stuff that was missing.

And DLC does work with the old discs I tried DFK and Futari.

Yep, Eurotaku sounds totally untrustworthy. "less than 20" "Cave premium members" - LOL

Thanks for tip. Indeed, the install all just doesn't work. It seems the installer has a limit of how many content it can install in one shot. So, what I did is install 5 pieces of content at a time. With that method, I managed to get everything off the disc. For anyone wondering, here's how many content of each type is included,

Game DLC x11, Themes x11, Gamer Pictures x23

Overall, it clocks in at 1.87GB.

Grmbl, thi sucks but I blame Rancor for me not getting the soundtracks.
I only ordered from Eurotaku because Rancor's creditcard had met it's limit.

@Rancor: what was the first goof you heard then?
I'm curious.

For the record I am going to mail Eurotaku too, and quote the above if they tell me the same stuff the mailed at sephiroth.

Let us know how things go down with Eurotaku .
I pre ordered the SLE version of SDOJ for the 360 from his toko but I still see him taking pre orders like there's no tomorrow so the question will be if he can actually fulfil them .

The OST case is so cheap. Mine arrived broken in 2 spots on the inside. Ordered a clear 10-disc case to match the game cases.

So the install disc includes Mushihimesama's 1.5? I am talking the 1st Mushi here to to be clear... the 1st print bonus.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Well it seems that I am a bit late but does anyone of you know a shop where I could still order this collection for a decent price?
I first thought of eurotaku but as I have never ordered from them before and after having read your comments here I don't think they are very trustworthy, are they?
