It's coming along ^_^;. The AST is undergoing final refinements and implementation into the game. The rough draft commentaries translation is also complete and ready for initial review. We should be on track for the late April release (I hope).

Destructiod recently posted a review for Crimzon Clover. Please thank them for giving shmups a chance =).

With this, we've finally surmounted the critical mass of reviews needed to get listed on Metacritic, and landed with a score of 85! It makes a nice comparison with Astebreed and Shovel Knight, which have similar scores.

Ehhh, I'll get back to you on that ^_^;. I've finally worked out a good process to edit the PDFs, but it's still a time consuming process that must be completed by hand. I have to edit the text carefully on a document by document basis to make sure that it fits in the image correctly (because the sentences in English usually take up more space than the Japanese characters). I'm making progress though.

Then he says to the white dude "Watch out for that black dude, he wants a piece of your cookie!"

And it seems Nintendo is starting to catch on to this with their half-assed release of Splatoon.

You do realize that Miyamoto made that statement at a time when console games were released in cartridge-format, right?

Sorry it's been taking so long, folks. The AST is 99% complete and should be released very soon.

As for the super demo commentaries, I really underestimated the time it would take to complete them. I'm the only person in the staff with the knowledge to really work on the project, having both worked with the translator directly and played the game at a semi-high level. I've been working on them as fast as I can, but it's been difficult to focus on as it's not the only project I'm responsible for. I know you're excited for it and I'm trying my best to get it completed as soon as possible.

I've noticed that the AST and the start of the superplays has been released as v1.05 on Steam. Any word on the patch coming to GOG?

bit disappointed with the unlimited type I run so far, uses an old route+death on the boss (which isn't such a problem IMO as long as it shows all the strategies properly) and seems to be more than 2tril below the current WR

hopefully the rest of the game will have some stuff i'm not aware of yet, at least the type II run seems to be more optimized

Nice work getting this out, I was mainly after the AST and I like it so far, the Hydorah feeling in it is amazing. (Evil Grinder ftw)

Ah, looks like Steam borked it =P. Let me get this straightened out. Just fyi, it's cheaper to purchase new content individually at the moment (because of the midweek madness sale) but the bundle should be cheaper after the sale ends.

Is it possible for us to get the art assets as separate files for those of us who want to make art kits/control panel overlays for our cabs?

You mean, as individual layers? I'm not sure if the artists created them that way. As far as I know, the 18x24 illustrations are the largest/highest quality versions of those particular artworks available.

Let me know if anyone is still having trouble finding the CC DLC. I've tried refreshing the queue a couple times and it doesn't always seem to display for me - could just be a cacheing issue on my side though.

Yeah the posters are fine quality wise, just hoping to grab a version of them without the logo and the logo itself as a transparent png or tiff.

Hey folks! I'm doing a live preview of our next PC shmup tonight on my livestream. The preview starts at 8PM EST on the usual channel http://www.twitch.tv/degigames/

Stop by and check it out if you have time.

If someone would like to assist with answering game mechanics questions in chat and moderation, that would be extremely helpful, I have a feeling we're going to receive a larger turnout than usual.
