Can you elaborate on the AV7000, 9000TB, controller, and Jamma Harness?
There's quite a few threads in the HW section on it. The AV7000 is very small, but very heavy. The 9000TB (the controller) is metal casing, with Seimitsu stick & buttons (standard Japanese layout). The harness is made by a 3rd party shop, but is just standard Jamma stuff. One end into the AV7000, the other end on the JAMMA board.
Ideally, I want a Supergun which will allow me to play all JAMMA boards and has a Saturn (or PS2) output for controllers.
You're kind of fucked here. Sigma *used* to make not only a Playstation cable, but a Saturn cable as well. You could use your 9000TB (which is a great stick, mind you) on either. They quit making the Saturn cable ages ago, and Playstation cable just last year. I only have one, so I pray to God it doesn't break.
Oh, and RGB plus composite..
AV7000 supports composite, RGB, and S-Video.
I'm not much of a stick person, so I would really prefer if this all set up and ready to go with Saturn pads.
The only real way to use Saturn pads on your gun will be to build some type of converter. The input is a 13-pin DINN (total ass whore to solder to, but I'm sure someone here can do it) and uses 1 lead for each direction/button, plus the ground. In other words, you either gut a pad and solder leads directly from the PCB, or you program a small PCB and make a cable (much harder--I'd buy one in a heartbeat if someone could do it).
If you could let me know just exactly what I'd be buying (with pictures)
AV7000,
9000TB.
Again, if Saturn pads are a must, you'll need to talk to someone about that. I'm a stick guy...my issue is not being able to play the stick on my other consoles.
