Kaaay. Replace "everybody" with "some" or "few" (depending on where you may or may not have read any DOJ disapproval before). Too broad a generalization for what could easily fly as a literally-interpreted statement. My bad.Randorama wrote:No. It actually sounds like you don't know what are you talking about, as well. Isn't that the same crap the turned everybody off in the DDP:DOJ?
No comment skipped. I speak more about the hypers. Hypers extend the chain where the player feels like it. That is a way of temporarily exploiting the otherwise skill-based scoring system with an artificial device/powerup.
Shiki 3 now includes an artificial device to also exploit an otherwise skill-based scoring system.
So then everybody gets to decide on his own if using these artificial scoring system workarounds "skillfully" adds to the game or takes away from it. DOJ, it may because now people can chain whole stages. Shiki 3 may not because it encourages dying to maximize your score.
I think score systems should be skill-based within their self-governing rules from start to end, that's all. This way we truthfully get to find out who actually scored the highest doing the up-close maneuvering you're supposed to do, not see who pressed the magic scoring loophole button at the right time.
You shouldn't tilt your nose up so high next time you reply. Ya might fall off your chair.
