The game's interface allows you to shoot with pinpoint accuracy. That does not mean that every player is good enough to shoot with pinpoint accuracy. I think you should just accept the fact you don't like FPSes and quit pretending there's something wrong with them to justify your dislike.
All genres have the potential to be equally fun. Same with movies/books/music. There are no inherently inferior genres. Just ones you don't like.
