Shooters where you can bounce off things?

You can bounce and skim off the ground in Empire Strikes Back for the Atari 2600.

It IS a shooter...albeit a basic and crude one.

Sanvein

You can bounce off anything that isn't a projectile (walls, enemies, bosses).

No one has mention R Type Final... Floors and ceilings will not kill you, big battleship on stage 3 will though!

OT I am starting an R Type Final Revival... What a fun game, slowdown aside.

One odd one that comes to mind would be Shooter Starfighter Sanvein . I picked this one up in the bargain bin at Gamestop for $5 bux but its def and interesting shmup that allows you to pinball off the walls inside of hexagons where you fight the enemies.
