Amidst all the flaws this game has, my favourite design choice has to be the powerups only changing colour if they hit the side of the screen.

worest shmup game I play I think, I really don't like this game, and when I hit the boss, the picture of boss will flash my eyes. :cry: :cry:

I fixed that for you. The ship's movement is shit. The way the bosses jerk around the screen, exploiting your ship's shit movement, is shit. The poorly-colored bullets (that can only be seen in a black-and-white stage) are shit.

I am certainly so glad this year's tournament has its own Sengeki Striker week.

I haven't felt anything odd with the movement. I didn't realize the game becomes such a mess later on though.

This game is shit, it delivers everything I hate in shmups. Worst enemy placement, almost-unssen and lightning speed bullets with danmaku patterns, I wonder how the 2nd loop looks like.

Also, question that's been on my mind: what does the voice say when you destroy a boss? To me it sounds like "I'm the Führer!" (okay maybe that's "I'm the hero," but that's not as fun now is it)

My theory was that since one of the pilots is basically an English caricature they were going for "jolly good, old bean!" Figured they ran out of memory and had to edit it down to "jolly-bean" as a last resort.

I made all that shit up by the way. But I think it's probably true since she's inside the bomb crate and tossing bombs around. Also isn't the last boss one of those famous images of preserved heads? I can't find the image though.

It's in japanese but feel free to ask if youre looking for something in particular. It's pretty interesting to read. Some games have strangely impossible second loops and stuff and I had no idea.

Ah, finally found Zing Zing Zip on the list. It's acutally above Donpachi 2-ALL, and not Dodonpachi 2-ALL (which is at difficulty 39, above ZZZ and DOJBL 2-ALL among other things). That definitely makes more sense now.

The full list is very interesting. I should take some time to translate it one day.
