Yeah, apparently something's been up with Iberian's NG page over the last year... shame, as there were a ton of high-level videos on there.

I remember the classicgaming NG homepage quite fondly, haha. Was reading that back in 99/00 along with the CV Dungeon, when I was still in my starry-eyed "there was an arcade Castlevania?! It must've been frickin' awesome like coinop Final Fight is frickin' awesomer than SNES Final Fight!" phase. Ah youth. ;_;

Haunted Castle is great! *comical boulder bounce noise and Simon juggle state animation frame* I haven't gotten all the way through it though...the difficulty is a bit uneven.

It's kind of interesting that Castlevania-style platformers, even flat-scrolling ones, were a relatively uncommon breed given their ubiquity on consoles. Most of the examples I can think of at the moment came from Data East.

That name sounds familir, he does a ton of videos on Youtube, playthroughs of fighting games, and some other games. Didn't know he had a site though.
