Code: Select all

Javel 4,617,652 3832 B 3 Roll 5
Lost my DM in the middle of stage 5, as usual, I would have used one of my bombs if I had only seen that fucker leave the screen :?

Heres a mediocre replay from some days ago:

(Wolfmame101, 4,1 mil - stage 5)

Good score Javel :D

Cheers for uploading an input, I'll get round to watching it later tonight when mediafire is back online.

At this rate I'm gonna end up switching to Roll. You boys clearly know something about it I don't.

I couldn't get your inp file to play (it drops back to desktop). Do I need Wolfmame101 specifically? I'm running an older version, 0.99 I think.

Nice score btw. :)

You'll be wanting wolfmame 101 to play it RGC. Download the wolfmameplus version of it and it'll play fine.

Thanks! Im gonna take a break and play something more relaxing now.

Regarding the inp; no idea, sorry. It usually works the other way round (playing back 0.99-files in 1.01)

Just watched it mate. Don't relax yet! Very nice action on ST4, but tragic boss death. Somehow it seems much less intense watching someone else play.

Just wanted to share this replay for the comedic value, cause the deaths were the most awesome ever.

http://www.mediafire.com/?4p9mo2cmm1u

Kind of frustrated with the game right now.

More tragic deaths, but still a nice run javel. Really nice DM totals for each level (average on the first). The 1-up death *shakes head*. Reminds me of the first time I saw the 1-up and just charged headlong at it in a straight line. And guess what happened, yep, met a projectile before I connected with it.

Still really impressed with your ST4 boss handling skills. Please stop losing a life on him though. That 1 credit clear is just around the corner. ;)

I didn't realise how close I was to scoring in the low 4m region. All I need to do is beat the 4th boss, and I'm pretty much there. Yeah, that's ALL I need to do...

To be honest I think Bomb might be much easier for many parts of stage 5. I was too used to roll by that point and just continued with it.
Fascination...

I still haven't got the hang of the jam. I think I could break a mill, once I suck a little less.

This game has ruined me for anything else. The first stages of DoDonpachi and such are so.... boring.

The theme and awesomeness (speeeed) probably turns people off the most... needs more embarrassing lolis or something.

Normal Game

Dale-1,509,846-B-4-Lock-4

This is my first time using speed 5, I thought I wouldn't be able to control it, but I got my best run.

You might mean speed 4 Dale - thats the maximum - unless you use ou-poko, which is beyond fast.

EDIT: In other news, mulletgeezer is getting very close to letting me down this month

I got very close just over a week ago - I died on the last boss and then when i looked up i saw it had zero energy remaining   ... Since then I seem to be playing worse and this game is starting to upset me somewhat. I'll keep trying.

It is Bringed. :D

Gash score due to dropping DM during stage 5 but I don't care too much, I'm just glad to have finished this evil game.

I like that headline! All HS threads should be done this way :D

Time Attack :

1,629,269 1421 C 4 Roll

some weirdly consistent scoring there, and then I had a lucky run.
