I'm optimistic, that sounds good to me! Hopefully they do release a port for a console; I tend to like console releases since PC specifications can vary so widely. I've been considering getting the game for PC, but something about the concept seems to have less weight than a console release. Who knows; Maybe they're working on Shikigami no Shiro IV, and have plans to port that instead.Veracity wrote:Yep, hence 'optimistic soul'. I just meant that, had AlfaSystem intended only a PC port from the start, one might reasonably expect them to have linked straight to its detail page from the main SNS3 site.
I made an SVG of my television once, you try to help out with a shmup-related T-shirt. I always rotated it to the right, since clockwise seemed to make sense (look at book and CD/DVD case spines when they're upright). I then found out that this was the wrong way.Mushy wrote:I was thinking of when/if I had my dreamcast connected to my TFT and the game only tate's such that the monitor needs to be rotated counter clockwise. (mine only rotates clockwise.)
I suppose that it makes sense in that the video signal itself is being rotated clockwise, and as such, the resulting display device needs to be rotated in the opposite direction in order for the image to be upright. (Plus, I think that CRTs fill the image top-to-bottom, so then a properly-rotated display would then fill the image left-to-right. There are some weird details, though.)
In any case, I suppose that you will simply have to rotate your display in the "old-fashioned" way for certain games, as you probably have been.
