Well stupid I am But I am pretty happy with this run, no deaths and no bombs. I think the hardest part was Zone V itself, there's so much erratic garbage flying on the screen that I feel like I never figured out a reliable strategy so it killed lots of my attempts. But I think I'm done playing Zone V for a while

nice job and nice score! That's a great step up from a month ago. There are many cool routes left to discover; I think the Y route is pretty manageable and the next step up if you want something not too hard.

The bombing I can probably fix by not misreading Deadly Crescent's attacks and losing all my shields to it; main goal right now to improve my score is just learning how to capture the other mid-bosses beyond the first two.

Pretty straightforward no miss no bomb clear with all captures. Not too much focus on scoring yet.

I still have so much to learn to start getting a big score increase from here I'm not sure where to start.

BTW any chance there will ever be separated boards for each end boss on here? It would make a lot of sense since the scoring potential is so different for each one. That might also encourage more players to explore routes other than Zone V.

It would make even more sense to separate AC and domestic versions, and auto on/off, but that would create too many rankings I guess.

Messed around with a different autofire setup today, and ended up setting a new PB in the process. Still pretty shit at grabbing midbosses past the first two, but I managed to hold onto a couple more bombs at the end compared to my previous PB.

This was my first 1cc, before now I'd always had to continue at the last boss. I darn near got the no-miss until I took my only death to a hail of bullets near the start of Zone V. I'll park this score here until I revisit the game down the line for a more challenging (and higher scoring) route.

Minor update but with a vid this time. A mix of safe cheesy strats with some high level stuff. Odious Trident x10 boss parts went pretty well on this run.

I use an aggressive strategy to prevent Electric Fan from ever doing what I call his blue rain attack. You have to avoid having white spheres which can prematurely destroy the boss or mouth. From here you can milk and rank boost as long as you want. Just don't destroy the mouth as that will reduce the number of fish spawned from 6 to 2.
