Blue Revolver Parallel Mode 1CC

I just got a 1CC of this mode, finally! It doesn't seem like there's a lot of people playing Parallel mode - I die a lot in this run and I still clear so I hope people see this as proof that a 1CC of this mode isn't unobtainable even if you're not especially talented.

And since I'm posting here already I would like to share something completely unbelievable: here is a channel that has a loop 9 (!) run of the original arcade Raiden (!). The bullets are essentially invisible, it's insane.

Tatsujin run was insane first and second loop, not sure about Raiden 9 loop run though it looked impressive.

Strikers 1945-2 2loop clear in 1080 60fps was nice.

didn't see this until now, but it really makes my day when i see players do annotated runs. i love seeing what players are telling each other what to do, what not to do, what perverse strategies to try etc. also really cool to see someone use the hyper laser, which people tend not to touch too much. cool video!

i'm curious what touhou pattern "revolver" reminds you of. boundary of life and death?

Thanks for the kinds words! At first I felt a little silly putting together annotations for this since it's kind of a sloppy run, but I had fun writing down my thoughts for each section and it sounds like at least a few people enjoyed them so I'm glad that I did. It seems like in general Normal and Hyper are the most popular modes (which makes sense since they're easier), so I wanted to show people that Parallel is still manageable even if you're not a superplayer. I've since figured out the conditions for all of the Breaks and I've updated my routes for each stage, so I hope to grind out a higher scoring run in not too long.

Also when I first saw it "Revolver" reminded me a lot of "Virtue of Wind God" from Mountain of Faith, but after looking at them both again they don't really have a lot in common, haha. I feel like the way you dodge them both is pretty similar though, since you're basically trying to stay inside of an open stream while occasionally slipping through cracks so you stay in the center of the screen. Now that I think about it, it probably is closer to "Boundary of Life and Death" than what I originally related it to

Donpachi - Type B 2-5 scoring no miss

Seeing that I've talked about no missing the second loop I thought I would upload this so I could have the entirety of the second loop no missed on my channel (my 29 mil 2-ALL pretty much has a 2-4 no miss).

This was taken from my 32.1 mil 2-ALL I got yesterday. I don't have any plans to upload the full run for a couple of reasons but if anyone wants me to I will.

I've gradually been improving my Mars Matrix stage 1, and recently I've gotten to the point where I can pretty consistently get around +790 chains. Also I know in my original 1cc video I hadn't yet started milking the stage 1 boss, so I decided to take a video of a +800 chain and full boss milk in Mars Matrix stage 1. I tried to do some detailed annotations, as well (but you'll probably have to pause a lot to read them). Hopefully this will inspire someone to give Mars Matrix a(nother) shot . Yes. I don't show the loop in my vid because I died at the very start by getting shot by some bush turret and it was embarrassing . A 2-ALL of this game is terrifying. Possibly harder than a DOJ WL 2-ALL.

This game is a bit of a pushover on normal. The game needs to be played on HARD to be fully appreciated imo. Has anyone had any experience with the difficulty above HARD (the Japanese option)? Wow! The suicide bullets rival that of Psikyos 2nd loop for totally brutality, a totally different beast indeed.
