Of course there are a few decent games on the Xbox but compared to whats available elsewhere its not doing many favours for its owners.
You mean, it's doing no favors for you. I own one and am satisfied, as are probably millions of other people. Like I said, because the xbox doesn't cater to your narrow focus (whatever focus that may be) doesn't mean it doesn't have variety or that they haven't tried "anything out of the ordinary"... and you are aware that British developers would fall under "western centric" games, right?
Feedback will set you free.

Oh, OK.

I liken the Dreamcast to a lvl.5 curd-flinging milky licker; one with 12 proficiency slots in turd burgling.

There.

The Dreamcast was Saddam Hussein's favourite console (he used to play Phantasy Star Online with Osama Bin Laden), so it must be evil.

And a shameless plug for the stuff I'm selling on eBay, if you're into that sort of thing.

Oh c'mon, while the DC's directional pad is VERY bad, it has nothing on the diminutive d-pad on the gamecube. It is something like the evolved uselessness of t-rex forearms. It is too small, uncomfortable and insensitive to use. The dc's d-pad is better than that!
I disagree. The DC pad doesn't even have rounded edges and it's not rubberized like the GCN pad. The only real problem (which doesn't bother my medium sized hands too much, to be honest) with the GCN pad is that it's small.
Whoah!! Guys, guys, let's not fight. We all know they both suckle hind teat. Simultaneous.

The Dreamcast is a cheap plastic toy that was made for little tiny babies to play with.

Tommorow I will do my best to fill my dreamcast up with a damping dump.
Then I am going to slap a bootlegger over the head with my warm filled with hapiness unit.
Next I am going to strap both controllers on railroad tracks and wait, oh the pleasure......

The PSP was the abandoned love-child of the Atari Lynx and Game Gear-- born prematurely and left in a dumpster for dead, but it survived--- frail as it is, and battery power however pathetic, it lived... and became the man we know today as Brian Peppers.

...oh, it hasn't started yet...

Actually though, I don't like the PSP. Therefore, I'm not truly qualified to make a joke thread. A spite thread I could do no problem, but I'm not a particularly spiteful dude so I'd rather just let the people that enjoy PSP do so in peace.

And since I'm breaking down here in public and spilling my guts in a cathartic emotional outburst, I'll say it again. I like the DC pretty good.

the dreamcast sucks because of all the shitty shooters on it:

gunbird 2 - too many fucking buttons, theres like 4 buttons i can press, and thats not even including the d-pad!?! fucks sake.
zero gunner 2 - rotation mechanics are shot. i played it for like 15 minutes, and i still wasn't completely comfortable.
shiki 2 - scraping is gay.
trizeal - shooting is gay.
dreamcast games are gay.

edit: and ikaruga is a puzzle game, totally fag-got about that one.
I have no sig whatsoever.

Slashdot:

In Korea, only old people use Dreamcast!

In Soviet Russia, Dreamcast plays on YOU!

All your Dreamcast are belong to us.

I, for one, welcome our new Sega overlords!

1- release Dreamcast
2- ???
3- Profit!

When will Duke Nukem Forever come for the Dreamcast?

Star Wars:

That's no Dreamcast... that's a PlayStation!

These aren't the Dreamcasts you are looking for.

I felt a great disturbance in Sega, as if a million Dreamcasts cried out in torment and were silenced at once.

this is a valid argument. 4 buttons in a shooter is too much. may as well play an rpg or strategy game or something.

Or the power buttons on the TV and system. This game is like a flight sim to get running. Damn your complexity, Psikyo!!!

The Dreamcast was too expensive for me to own....how's that for an insult.

i'd just like to point out that i am absolutely kidding in my statement. gunbird 2 is a fine game, and one of psikyo's best.

... and DC, didn't you just buy my RSG?

It knows it's thinking. Unfortunately, mother nature has evolved its vocal chords in a way that I am unable understand it since all I hear whenever I put a game into it is loud, high-pitched unintelligible noise.

Its VMUs swear at me every time I turn the Dreamcast on and they're plugged into a controller connected to it.

People who don't play Dreamcasts should think themselves lucky they've got some extra room on their gaming shelf. With all these new consoles where is everyone going to put everything. Back in the day it was wild if you owned a Megadrive and a SNES.

It's the Xbox enthusiasts I feel sorry for. Now the Xbox 360 is out, where are they going to put their other 358 Xboxes?

I'm surprised nobody made a Game.com bashing thread. If any system deserves a good bashing, it's that one. Best Buy was actually selling a couple of its games for one cent. I got a couple of those one cent games and still felt ripped off. When about the only decent games for the system are Centipede, Frogger, Solitare, and Lights Out, you know something is wrong.

Get the net. It ain't a bashing thread, it's a joke thread. Dreamcast games never went below two cents.
