If you want to upload your score to the online leaderboards, you have to go to SCORE ATTACK>PLAY to do so. Be sure you always first select PLAY from the main menu (and then exit after it loads up) before entering SCORE ATTACK when you first boot up the game, otherwise your saved scores will be wiped (this is a bug that will be fixed in an upcoming patch).
Just to be clear, is this method only to facilitate uploading to the online leaderboards, or is this to prevent wiping of local leaderboards as well?EOJ wrote:To be more specific, you need to select PLAY from the main menu and then choose any mode (and let it load up), and then exit from that mode.
What exactly causes the saved scores to be wiped? I've tried selecting PLAY, booting it up, and exiting, and then re-entering the mode (not score attack) and recording a score or two on the leaderboard. After booting up the game again a third time (or after I've reset the xbox), the scores are gone! Is there something in the workaround that I'm missing here...?

I'll give this a shot tonight and see how many times I forget to manually save. Haha.EOJ wrote:Oh, you can't have the game installed on the hdd, and you have to turn auto-save off. If you do this, the method I described above will ensure your scores never get wiped, and they save properly.
I hope they get this patch out soon!

Still waiting for mine (opposite coast from you) though it shipped a day or two late. Hoping it arrives sometime this week, if not I'll check further.DBHashman93 wrote:Hate to ask this question yet again, but is anybody else in the US still waiting on their copy? Mine shipped Apr. 22, and the mailman just dropped by...still no game. I'm in San Francisco, and I'm just curious if others in the area have gotten their copies.

I am in San Francisco. My order was shipped on 22 April and I just got my copy today.DBHashman93 wrote:Hate to ask this question yet again, but is anybody else in the US still waiting on their copy? I have never played the PCB. Except for minor slowdown, the XB360 version is very playable and enjoyable! I am very happy with this game so far.

Apologies for this, I must be doing something horribly wrong as my scores are still being wiped no matter what I seem to do.EOJ wrote:Oh, you can't have the game installed on the hdd, and you have to turn auto-save off. For clarity, here's what I've done so far (the game's not installed on my HDD btw)...
1) Deleted all my local DS data on the HDD for a fresh start
2) When the first prompt appears, cancel auto-save
3) Check the options... yep autosave disabled
4) Select PLAY on the main screen, then XBOX 360 mode, then load up the game
5) Quit back to main menu
6) Repeat step 4
7) Play a game, record a high score on the local leaderboard.
8 ) Press A on the prompt to save the game (not the replay data)
9) Exit to main menu
10) Repeat step 4 again
11) Score is gone from the leaderboard.
Have I done something wrong? Or is your method only for uploading to the online leaderboards via Score Attack?
Thanks for the help btw... otherwise I could just wait for that patch I guess

Ranks of 1-1 thru 3-2, and whether or not you went to the Canyon or not. If you go to the canyon you get a shitload more suicide bullets, and the end boss (both forms) are far tougher.8 1/2 wrote:So what's up with Stage 4? How is the rank of the level decided?

Good luck on that one, it requires both a high level of skill, and a lot of time put into the game. Most people will never get that achievement.kk1030 wrote:has anyone able to pull 300,000,000 off 360 mode?
even after i went thru ex stage and all lvl3s on other stages, i still cant seems to be able to do it....
