Replace the bottle with my... and the coke with ... and you have a perfect representation of my reaction to this news.

And yes, this got waaaaay too close for comfort in the shortest time... And if you'd excuse me now, I have to change my underwear, it is not comfortable anymore...

There's coke in it.

mjclark, you're fucking psychic.

And Haze and the MAME/Demul team are just WINNING.

But no love for Sumez, he's Tobey Maguire and moral wuss of this thread. :P (jokes man, this stuff has almost convinced me to buy Futari thus proving you right)

If anyone wants a binary anyway I can download and compile, just let me know.

How gullible can you guys be? He knew the date in advance, as did I and other people involved in development and/or testing of SH3 emulation. :P

Since you were involved I suppose you could explain the choice of a specific date to put in sound then. Had it all along and putting into the MAME build piece-by-piece or just decided not to be assed till a specifc date? :P

Still doesn't take away from mjclark being psychic for other reasons either. ;)

EDIT: It just clicked to me that I've been trolled for the third time tonight. Well played. I really need to get my angry face off and my "buy me more jewelery" face on.

Basic music is in thanks to Metallic (Demul)

Sound still needs per voice panning / volume control, and looping but does sound rather sexy already.

Were you even listening?
Both things are well supported on the X360. (I have plenty of third party pads, and used a regular USB keyboard for several games)

IF the games don't support keyboard inputs for the controls (which most games won't for obvious reasons), that's because the developers of the games didn't make support for it. Has nothing to do with MS.

But, you're just trolling, right?

Then why does the keyboard/mouse adapter for the 360 cost 90 bucks?

Also I dunno how stuff works where you live but when I look up gamepads in any store over here, there is a ton of very affordable PC/PS3 ones while the 360 ones are 50$ upwards and it's usually just a themed 360 controller with minor tweaks.(like the black ops controllers and whatnot)

The PS3 controllers here are even more expensive ($90) than the 360 controllers (they're $60 upwards). Do you live in Australia like me where everything's overpriced?

A new PS3 controller in New Zealand from a lot of places is $110.

Lol what?
Someone's pulling your ass. The X360 has a whole bunch of USB ports, you can just plug it in.

This system, Microsoft claimed, was put in place to help customers get the best possible experience with the console.

That news article was from freaking 2005, what are you implying that there are no 3rd party devices made by HORI and other companies for the 360?

Why is everyone in this thread so buttmad?

If they actually do this emulation and get it working then I guess being able to try Ibara would be cool, but as I'm not a total cheapskate I already own a EU and Jap xbox so I prefer to buy the console versions as they have so much better options, extra modes etc.

I believe that was the point of Banamatics rather preposterious and illogical claims.

So, when will the sound be fully emulated?

You know, I have the urge to get this even closer for comfort. (By playing the games on this baby: http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.ph ... 71#p733171 )

Mjclark, any guesstimate when the sound + music will be fully emulated?
