Though I doubt it will happen, I hope that this supposed videogame crash will fucking annilhilate all this trendy bullshit that really has nothing to do with games. Spike TV/G4 awards shows, well G4 in general...celebrities who don't give a flying fuck about games cashing in on the trend.
This is what happens when things get mainstream popularity.

Thank goodness for NES, SNES, PCE, PS 1, Saturn, and Genesis for consoles, Amiga, C64, and others for PC.

Ikaruga review now up in PLASMA BLOSSOM
Played it at a shop last week.
Graphically it's got nothing that hasn't all ready been dispalyed on the PC using modern & fairly older graphic cards.
Hell, it didn't look that much better than the older X-Box & PS-2.
So that doesn't quite justify the 400$ price tag, at least for the moment.
Here it costs 400 Euros which is a bit more: $471!

Re: Smash My X-Box
Did they even run tests to see if it worked after they smashed it? If the thing can take a good beating before malfunctioning, that's always a plus in my book.SheSaidDutch wrote:Just thought I'd post this link for some people that might be interested

Edit: The cover slid off after it landed from being tossed into the air. Microsoft still hasn't learned that heavy consoles only have an advantage when they're NOT dropped from that high off the ground. Sheesh. That's why the Gamecube won in hardware reliability.

But it never feels right, at least for me, not to mention now that $200 console you bought is now obsolite.SheSaidDutch wrote:I think It's about right, 4-5 years is (mostly) the time when they release the next consoles.FatCobra wrote:Does anyone else here feel that it's a bit too early for a next-gen system? No it's about right. The ps2 really should have had a successor a long time ago though. It's basically just barely better than a dreamcast so the tech was already old when it was released.FatCobra wrote:Heh. Shows Microsoft right for releasing their fancypants next-gen console before Christmas.

The xbox is already getting a little old too if not completely so since so many of the games coming out for it are tapping every bit of its power.

Still too many. You know those commercials with the big red "easy button" on them? I'll bet she already has one of those for most aspects of her life...now she just needs one to hook up to a video game system.SheSaidDutch wrote:The NES better watch out then
