I personally got into Python after watching Fawlty Towers when I was in my tweens and my sibilings, from time to time, bring up a joke if it fits the situation we're in. However, I have to say that my favorite sketch is the Galaxy song. It was very inspiring the first time

Cliche though it is, i'll have to say The Spanish Inquisition sketch. The look on the elderly lady's face when she's forced into The Comfy Chair always makes me giggle.

I'm rather fond of the Summarising Proust sketch, perhaps the only thing ever to be made funnier by censorship - a contestant lists their hobbies as "golf, strangling animals and masturbating". But in the original broadcast they simply cut the audio for "masturbating" - which got a huge roar from the audience, so it sounds like they find strangling animals unnaturally amusing.

HA, always loved that one myself. I love all their stuff though, so hard to pick a favorite.

Slightly related but if you haven't seen A Liar's Autobiography: The Untrue Story of Monty Python's Graham Chapman you owe it to yourself to watch it. Not only is the animation incredibly varied and jaw-dropping in places, it is both funny and actually pretty sad in spots.
