He seems very oddly anti-digital media and collects VHS, VCDs, Betas, LDs, etc. of underground action films of the sort, so it's a damn shame he can't just rip it and throw it online for someone.
those guys are weird especially seeing as they all used to buy/sell/trade bootleg tapes and bootleg vcd back in the day.i imagine most of these anti digital media guys have sourced titles from the internet themselves..if it wasn't for the internet titles such as grizzly 2 wouldn't be available in any form at all.
by not providing a rip they are also making sure they will never understand the dialogue in the film which is stupid.
if it wasn't for watching bootleg banned film and uk sattelite channel bravo showing genre films/b movies my taste would be very different.shit i remember when you weren't even allowed to watch clockwork orange in the uk.i shit myself when some kid at school brought in a decent looking vhs copy recorded off german sattelite

Yeah, I seriously don't understand the mentality behind it. It's almost guaranteed with the amount of crazy Thai stuff out there, especially with the resurgence of action films in the country, that somebody would be willing to subtitle it. I can't even imagine the entire UK Video Nasty and banned tapes thing, especially with a Kubrick film!

I don't know if its really worth seeing, but I remember a couple years back buying The Sanctuary and being pleased with the amount and quality of action. The Story really makes about zero sense as to how somebody who speaks english for most of the movie can be understood by a Thai guy and can understand the Thai guy. Still the action is worth a look. Also worth seeing with a good story and good action(even if the CG isn't the greatest) is Born to Fight. Starts out with good action and never really lets up. Still happy to have seen and own that.

Dredd, buddy! Dredd!

And yeah, it rules. Still amazed this even exists. A pleasant surprise to see so much carnage on the big screen again!
Echoing this sentiment. Some of the most fun I've ever had with a film, and the 3D was actually phenomenally used! I can't say a single bad thing about it.
