Quick Final Burn Alpha Question...

Quick emulator question if anyone knows...just recently I've started using Final Burn Alpha to play some shmups (since MAME tends to run them too fast for some reason); I've figured out most of the "basic" stuff needed to work the thing, but one thing I haven't found out how to do is save high scores: if anyone knows what I need to DL, where to put it, etc. in order to do this I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
