The framemiester is a scart to HDMI covertor. Now, I'm by no means a video purist, but I happen not to like scanlines myself, and in my setup, my NES, SNES, N64, Master System, Genesis, and Saturn are all connected to an Automatic SCART selector switch, which runs into a SCART-to-HDMI converter, which shoots right into my 46" Samsung.
It looks bloody brilliant, and I have a seriously difficult time imagining it being any better, so...
