A few days ago i got a Sony PVM-20L2 crt for my gaming needs but found some issues....
The first i did its connect my lovely Sega Dreamcast via s-video and display its good , except randomly i get some king of interference that looks even more in white colors , thinking maybe its the source or cable the problem i connected my Saturn & ps1 via s-video and still the same problem, next day i got bnc to rca coverter to try composite & component and in both still the same issue, colors sharpness contrast works fine, except the damn interference. I already try experiment with all the menus and had no luck, even did a reset to factory settings crossing fingers maybe the problem was some incorrect setting and didn't work. already connected the pvm to different power outlets, try different plugs and the same. Do anyone have experience with this kind of problem?
here's a video of the problem i have for better understanding and by the way sorry for the bad English its not my first language.

It depends how your service menu says to do it. My 2044qm says attach external 180v DC to the red green and blue cathodes and adjust to the point just before those lines appear, I just eyeballed it and used a colorimeter because on the 2044qm screen volts can discolour the screen from pink to yellow to cyan. Make the adjustment on a white screen.
.
My 1454qm says you need an oscilloscope and set the lower point of the wave to 1.35v.
I'd say find a service manual, have a look at that, if you don't have the gear you can probably get away with eyeballing it, it should be a small turn on the flyback or neckboard it should be marked 'g2' or 'screen'.
Also be careful with your screwdriver (should be insulated) because the plastic is weak and could become mush if you aren't. Maybe look into getting a set of pot tweakers.

As a last resort before send it to a technician I'm going to follow your advice (right now I'm searching for the service manual) , need to get the pot twekers before try it. i will do it in the weekend so i can work calmly and with patience. Wish me luck! i will let you know my results.
