The Xbox version of Midnight Club II definitely runs better than the PS2, my whole clan and myself migrated from PS2 to Xbox part way through the life of the game.

I love that 'Seimitsu Inside' sticker. Did you mock that up yourself?Sinistar's visions wrote: Designed the decals loosely based around Triangle Service's "shooting love".

Ah, I only designed the front decal, I spoke incorrectly. The "Seimitsu inside" graphic comes from a Japanese home arcade stick wicki page. I don't know who designed it, whether it was used on an actual arcade stick.
Anyhow, here is the link. It is a clever graphic:

^ What's it like playing stuff in widescreen? They seem much easier to come by than the 4:3's.

that's actually a 4:3 tube. must be the perspective making it look wider than it is. over here true widescreen sony monitors are actually extremely rare

PVM14L4. as such it's kind of small (14"), but still big enough considering the viewing range

Look awesome, ryu. I'm chasing after a larger PVM (only got a 6") and 14 would do just right
In other words - slightly envious

The first PS2 ever made (revision wise):

The last PS2 ever made (revision wise - note internal PSU):

Ironic that the one that was made more recently is in much much worse condition.
In fact, this SCPH-10000 is in better condition than my four other PlayStation 2 (not including these two).

The interesting thing about the JPN region SCPH-10000 and it's 15000 revision follow-up is that you'd have to buy the external PS2 HDD and BBA units seperately if you wanted more functionality and they'd line up right next to the 1st-gen PS2 console taking up some prime real estate space via PCMCIA slot setup. If you wanted to upgrade the DVD playback FW on either the SCPH-10000 or 15000 revision, SCEI released a 1st-gen PS2 DVD remote with external IR DVD remote dongle accessory + accompanying DVD-Rom to do the proper update.
Of course, the later console revisions had the official SCEI PS2 40GB HDD unit placed inside the console and the BBA piggybacking on it for less real estate space-wise (this was true for the U.S. NTSC PS2 console release).

Coolest FC cart by far.
And Gradius II FC has that neat reflective silver box, and Getsu Fuuma Den its refractive cover art... nice of Konami to do that. I miss the days of characterful game packaging / media.

This is a GH-001 board with V1.00 BIOS so I'd have to get the Utility discs to update it..

Strangely they didn't end up integrating the IR port until the slim models much much later.PC Engine Fan X! wrote:The interesting thing about the JPN region SCPH-10000 and it's 15000 revision follow-up is that you'd have to buy the external PS2 HDD and BBA units seperately if you wanted more functionality and they'd line up right next to the 1st-gen PS2 console taking up some prime real estate space via PCMCIA slot setup. Just some random crap really that I've picked up this week. Nothing amazing, just some fun stuff. Pics are shitty, sorry.
Black 3DS XL and some games. Mario Party is for my daughter. She loves it.

Cheap Wii games.

Some Game Boy stuff

NES games. Demon Sword, Clash at Demonhead, Street Fighter 2010, Metroid, Wizardry, Mickey Mousecapade.

Werewolf the Last Warrior, Willow, Kabuki quantum Fighter(sealed), Astyanax(sealed). Games won't be sealed for long.

Hmm. Maybe I could grade and flip them.moh wrote:OMFGZ VGA 85+ SE@LED!!!!!
Nah. I paid $70 for the pair locally. I just figured it was a good way to get them in good condition and I don't think it was too much more than buying them CIB. I'm not on the up and up with values though.

Seriously. I'd actually advocate you turning over $1k in profit just to exploit their idiocy.speedlolita wrote:You might at well flip them.

Best Buy had 'em on clearance for $20, and they seem ok at home. The 24' generator at work tomorrow, though, may prove their worth legit.

Re: Awesome stuff you've just bought (+pics please)
I get the feeling I am being mocked in some sort of strange manner but I'll address it anyhow. I just looked at completed listings on eBay and Kabuki Quantum Fighter and Astyanax seem to sell for around what I paid for them. I don't think they are highly sought after games so I do not believe that having them graded would bring much profit in return for the effort. I'll just open them and hopefully enjoy them.
