Are these games worth importing? I know Mamoru Kun is on psn, but I'd rather have it on physical media because I'm old and not too fond of digital games unless they are indie or something.
Also Ketsui it's a cave game and it looks awesome from what I've seen.

Play-asia has the "Best Hit Selection" edition on back order - so they may get more in. Even if you get a physical copy, the localized PSN version is still worth getting as your "localized manual" (and for the included DLC).eatdogs wrote:I know Mamoru Kun is on psn

Mamorukun wa Nowarete shimatta coming to PS3 (retail)
Mamoru-kun ha norowareteshimatta! (G.Rev, Emphasis on the !)
Opinions vary - I like it but I'm not picky and I don't own the PCB.Jonst wrote:Ketsui...yes,it's superb!

Ketsui Extra on PS3 is nigh indistinguishable from the 360 version. You can't go wrong with either.

Re: Mamoru Kun / Ketsui PS3
Ketsui - get it now; is great.
Mamoru-kun ... only if it's your thing. Personally, would not bother paying any extra for it; okay game at best for me. If you fancy something else I think Under Defeat is a stronger recommendation...

I grabbed under defeat a while back. Totally awesome game. Mamoru Kun reminds me of Pocky and Rocky. It'd be cool if it continues in that style is shooter.gray117 wrote:Ketsui - get it now; is great.

Re: Mamoru Kun / Ketsui PS3
Hmm yeah I see where you're coming from - I don't think Mamoru-Kun really captures the same charm as pocky and rocky ... there's certainly a sentimentality to it I think, but a bit too sharp/edgy to be charming for me. I don't think the gameplay is a repeat draw like ketsui, but if it is your thing then it's certainly decent.
But like I say; personal preference. If you're unsure about it perhaps I hit on something that might be nagging you, if you're leaning towards it though - go for it, don't let me put you off - there's nothing there that makes it bad by any means
