If you didn't know this already, yes, Einhander runs at a silky smooth 60 frames per second framerate (by Squaresoft...at that particular point in time -- 1997). And did you notice that there aren't any loading screens when playing an actual Einhander gaming session.
I like the 100 high-resolution image gallery of the various Einhander mecha & weaponry.
It's too bad that Squaresoft has said in the past that Einhander was never going to get a sequel...since Einhander already tells a story from "beginning to end" in the first place.
And believe it or not, Einhander was the only the 2nd PSX shmup to have the distinction of being distributed by SCEA (Sony Computer Entertainment of America) themselves along with it's 1st Philosoma PSX shmup game release.

Re: Einhander runs at a silky smooth framerate...
The crazy thing is, that Einhänder still is a better looking game than 90% of the polygon based shooters to come out in the last couple of years. IMO it's actually one of the most beautiful shooters ever, right up there with Pulstar, Blazing Star and Guwange. Even if Square don't make a sequel, they should at least make another shooter. Maybe now that they bought Taito there's a new possibility? Kinda doubt it though.PC Engine Fan X! wrote:If you didn't know this already, yes, Einhander runs at a silky smooth 60 frames per second framerate (by Squaresoft...at that particular point in time -- 1997).
