very nice. Hopefully it's better than the GBA version which I did not care for.

The GBA version was just a port of the SNES version.

And this game has been known about for a while now. Still not enough to sell me on a PSP though, simply due to the price of the thing.

The "GBA version" you are reffering to is a different game, Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts. I found it to be a very good port of the SNES version with the addition of a nifty arranged mode with remakes of levels from other games in the series. BTW, there was also a GBA Famicom Mini of Ghosts 'n Goblins.
