Uchuu Keibetai SDF / Titan Warriors

Anyone ever heard of this game or played it? It was made by HAL (Kirby guys). It's a Famicom game. It's pretty awesome. Hard as all get out though.

Titan Warriors is a Capcom game that was going to come here but got left out like so many good shmups. It has an awesome level design for an nes game where you could strafe far too the left and right more than any other shmup I've seen.

Uchuu Keibitai SDF is one of my favourite shooting games. Good challenge, solid graphics, and creative enemy patterns.

I like the shot that bounces off of surfaces in Titan Warriors, but overall I find the scrolling too slow and the ship too big and clunky looking.

I have Uchuu Keibitai SDF CIB, but haven't played it much. When I did try it out, it seemed very slow-paced and a bit boring, it seemed the first stage took ages without much happening. I'll have to give it another go soon.

Kirby Mass Attack has a hidden shmup in it named Strato Patrol EOS. From what I have seen of SDF, it plays different, but the title and title screen are a nod to SDF.

How much does SDF go for? There aren't any on ebay right now except for a very expensive NIB.

I have two copies of SDF unboxed for the NES and it's a very good Game in terms of level graphics and design. Plays like any other Shmup tbh but it is not bad at all. However, it reminds me more of PCE Shmups than NES. I had not heard of Titan Warriors - thanks.
