London arcade trip . . .info needed

I'm down to London on Friday for another arcade visit . . .hopefully a few new shmups . . .and I'm after some info.

Firstly . . .is The Trocadero still goin' strong?? They had some great stuff last time I was there (if a little deficient on the shmup front)

Is the Namco WonderPark close to Westminster underground station ??

Some general directions would be a help cos I've only been to the old Namco arcade in Great Windmill Street.

I understand the good ol' Casino has a new shooter - so I'll be checkin' that out fer sure.

Trocadero is still open (and very busy recently).

You will find Raiden, Raiden III, Air Assault, Strikers 1945.

Casino is just down from Googe St and has Mushimasama, Ketsui, Cyvern, Sengeki Striker, Nightraid, Progear, Raiden Fighters, Prehistoric Isle (multi play) etc.

Namco is very easy to find from the address on the website- no shooters.

There are several Play 2 Wins around but one of the OK ones is on Oxford St opposite Rathbone place, it had Dodonpachi II and Raiden Fighters.

Great . . .The casino has Ketsui, Sengeki Stiker AND Cyvern - never seen any of those. Mushi and Night Raid and Progear were there when I was down a few months ago.

Glad to hear that Funland at The Troc is doin' well. I'm a driving fan as well and last time they had Outrun 2 SP (superb !!!), F-Zero AX (awesome !!) and Battle Gear 4.

Okay, I'll look up Wonderpark on the map . . .they used to have some interesting Jap machines last time I was at the Soho site.

Wonderpark has been gone for 4-5 years.

the namco arcade at county hall is a waste of time. dont bother. SERIOUSLY.

the arcades completely suck now. theres a few newish games here and there but nothing like the wonderpark days.

. . .after looking fer the bleeding place for half an hour.

One racer I've never seen and that was it . . .hopeless !!
