I don't know if you're talking about cagar label or not, but in cagar label stage 5 is way more lenient and doable without a route, as there are less trappy static patternsPteriforever wrote:Yeah, stage 5 is really really really bitchy that way. Once I went in there with 6 extra lives and died before I reached the boss. You really need at least some kind of route to be able to play it at all...

Lol, that video is old as shit. I'll have to post an updated version later, you know, one that actually gets to Stage 5. Also there's 10 hypers? What the hellCagar wrote:Taizen, I saw your youtube-vid![]()
For maximum score, you should always use as high lvl hyper as you can; good basic rule is to always save lvl 10 hyper and unleash it at midbosses

In cagar label you won't recharge more hypers with high combo, also in cagar label you ALWAYS get the blue pod extend, so these things don't applyPteriforever wrote:Having a crazy high combo makes it go up faster, but it's not very much, you need 1000 HIT to double the rate.
In my experience, using level 10 hyper on midbosses is really only viable on Stage 4. In Stage 3 you'll want to save it to use against the blue pod with the secret extend, since hypers massively extend the combo timer.
