So its was a very slow month for me. No games but oh well. Here is my pick ups this month but all non gaming.....well one is gaming related so I will start with that.

Retro Gamer Mag. with a great shmup on the cover.

Image

next all the boring non gaming stuff you most likely dont care about but im posting anyway. ;D

Under Armor Sweatshirt ( Seahawks colors!!!), DC Shoes, and Galaxy S4 phone.

Image

Up next I got some new silicone earings once again I wear one of each for Seahawks colors.

Image

lets see next up is my Seahawks gear in celebration of being the NFC Division champs and going to the Superbowl. ( second time in franchise history)

Image

Lastly i went and visited my family in Connecticut. ( just a pic of shitty Hartford, CT)

Image

Well I think that about does it.

DTL-T10000H is big (not full ATX size, but very densely packed). That's all.

Sweet wall-mounted hori set-up. Leave it that way, I say.

I treated myself to this little superplay haul. Really lovely things; great superplays, superb packaging.

After the recent price drops (down to $599 for a 128GB model,) I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger on getting a Surface Pro. It's been years since I've had a reasonably up-to-date notebook PC aside from my work laptop, but I was interested in this one mostly to use for drawing. The RFA is old; it's mostly there for comparison.

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

+1
How do you find it?
I picked one up (used) just before x-mas and aside from a slight screen defect (which seems to be quite common) I'm happy with it. Drawing feels good (even better with another pen) but somewhat sluggish compared to my old trusty Intuos 3.

I got mine from a Microsoft Store (here in the US and Canada Microsoft has retail stores in malls similar to Apple stores,) although you can find them at a number of other electronics stores as well. I've wanted one for a while, but couldn't really justify the pricetag until the price dropped. I've dabbled in digital art before (using a Wacom Graphire 3) but haven't ever been all that serious about it. I'd like to get back into it, but it's clear I need some practice with this stuff first. The accuracy of the pen around the edges of the screen isn't so great from what I've seen, but it works well enough. It's no Cintiq, but it's also not $2,000 either.

What drawing apps do you recommend? I picked up a copy of Sketchbook Pro to go with it and I've heard good things about ArtRage, but I'm still getting used to this.

Logitech's Driving Force GT and a Wheel Stand Pro. I've raced an hour or two with it now and I'm very happy with the combo. Played some Battle Gear 3 and V-Rally 3 and the wheel felt very comfortable and precise. Despite the box not saying a word about it, the wheel has great PS2 compatibility, that was the main reason I actually bought it. Fun times ahead!

Always getting involved everywhere aren't you CHI?

That's wicked though. I'm rarely one for getting signatures, but getting players to sign the associated superplays is a great idea.

No, it's the RE with the complete soundtrack combo .
I had asked to ship my free Dux 1.5 update disk with this order last April but they send me a complete DVD boxed game free of charge back then which was nice of them .
There's still a Dux 1.5 with this order though and a complete slim line version so I'm not complaining

Yeah, sketchbook worked really well. Tried it for the first time on the Surface and it feels pretty much made for it. Haven't moved on from the trial version, however. I did try Photoshop CS3 & CS5 as well as manga studio. PS CS5 seems more responsive than CS3 which felt sluggish and laggy while drawing but Manga Studio 5 on the other hand worked almost just as well as sketchbook, but felt fare more potent - so I actually picked that one up.

Yeah, edges aren't too great and because of where the sensor is located near the pen tip (as opposed to being in the actual tip) it's a bit hard to get things precisely where you want them sometimes, depending on the angle of the pen.
