Fun game for versus play.
Bad game for score play.
Cheers buddy. One of sixSeahawk wrote:Congrats! Might I add that that is a sweet looking cab there!
Agreed.Mero wrote:I think this game has some secrets that we don't know because sometimes when you fight Mevious and Memory they'll be almost invincible, which is what you want.
Thanks!Mero wrote:BTW, that 88 hit chain in your picture is absolutely enormous mate!

This is pretty much everything I do.gabe wrote:I'm no expert, but my general strategy for the first 5 characters has gone something like this:
Things I've experimented with on the first 5 characters (with mixed results):
- Aim for AT LEAST 100k points per battle.
- This should put you at Mevious after receiving the 500k extend, and puts you on course for a minimum 1.1million game
- Avoid sending boss attacks, unless it occurs as the result of a big ass chain
- Hit as many "perfects" as possible
- Check out this old link for illustrations of all of the "perfect" patterns
- Deliberately taking hits in order to send life to the CPU
- Trying to anticipate/setup large chains by watching for the fever coin on the CPU's screen
Yeah, I think I must have transplanted that mistake over from the old thread.Zil wrote: The last entry says "Load Run," which I assume should be "Load Ran."
I can't remember where, but I'm about 90% sure that some version of the game makes the run/ran translation mistake somewhere... Nice scores regardless.Mero wrote:Yeah, I think I must have transplanted that mistake over from the old thread.Zil wrote: The last entry says "Load Run," which I assume should be "Load Ran."
Good scores btw.
Getting consecutive "perfect" bonuses yields additional points each time. From what I've observed, the order goes like:Mero wrote: EDIT: Can someone with lagless MAME please watch shadowbringer's character mode run and tell me how he ends up with a 1 at the end of his score? I'd watch it myself but I don't have a computer >_>.
Definitely 3 lives mate.AeroCityMayor wrote: I just wondered what the corrcet default number of lives is.
