the player with good math skills will score better, which makes zero fucking sense.
The player with better multitasking skills will score better, unless you don't know basic math, in which case you should stop playing STGs and learn addition.

Edit: DirtyOstrich, I apologize for adding to the crap being posted in your thread. I think your game is fun, and was well worth the small asking price.

Awesome, thanks man. Really glad some people have some poitive things to say about the maths element.
Was worried I would totally alienate everyone.
DirtyOstrich wrote:Any chance you could make the calculations harder
Hmm, Still working on this one. The idea was to simply cause a distraction and force multitasking, so I wanted the maths to remain within the 12 times table.
But I've had quite a few people ask for harder stuff so I'm thinking of adding a Math-Core mode or something for the dedicated few :)

Perfect answer. Couldn't put it better myself :)

No problem, I really hope it's worth the $1 when it's finished.

This doesn't change anything. Even if you do, and can make the calculations, some people can just do it naturally faster.

I'm curious, why are you so hard on about this game?

A) If the first game is anything to go by, you have plenty of time to do these basic math calculations. The STG is harder than the math.

B) The developer is allowed to make a game that requires more than STG skills to preform well in. There is no rule stating otherwise. If it was an oversight that the developer didn't realize, then it would definitely need pointing out, but it is obvious at this point that the dev knows this, and that it is what the dev wanted to create.

Not a major update, but changed level 4 around. Didn't like the enemies before.

Just finished off the first draft for the 'Queen' in SKH-R.
Still needs some tweaking but nearly there.
