Possible additions to your Top 25

I see several of you mentioning Truxton which I just got in a trade with Capt. Ahar. There's no question: I've got to get a Toaplan shooter on my list. Maybe this one or Twin Cobra. What other first-rate games did they make?

Batsugun. That's their best game by far.

If not Batsugun, then it should be Dogyuun.

I didn't do the top 25 last time, but here are some of the games that I'll be sure I'm going to put on my list:

Salmander 2 (Love it better than the first one)
Thunder Force III (Best Genesis hori shooter)
M.U.S.H.A (Best Genesis vertical shooter)
Carrier Air Wing (US Navy)
U.N. Squadron (arcade version, not the SNES one)
Lords of Thunder (music is the main reason)
R-Type
19XX
Soldier Blade
and a lot more

yeah as i'm not too far into my shmup obsession, this'll be the first time i'll feel qualified to compile a list of 25 without filler. looking forward to giving my vote to pretty much anything psykio, as well as lovely vulgus and many more.
