Neither of you are being fair.

You both suck.

The video depicts a "game" that obviously looks like ass.

The boss music made me prematurely ejaculate.

I'll be keeping an eye on it.

Whining about water and how bad an alpha looks just makes you all look stupid.

Y'all should try early 90s games.

Ever played Aero Fighters?

They all look the same as each other and every other game that came out back then.

Ghost Blade obviously doesn't look a damn thing like DDP.

It looks like Storm Blade.

Yeah.

I just blew your mind.

It's a shinier take on Storm Blade's graphics.

Y'all gonna call DDP a ripoff of Storm Blade?

I'd say "I didn't think so" but with this forum it's just surprise after surprise.

I don't think it's really a DDP knockoff, but at the same time why would they show us a teaser of their game with tons of unfinished graphics and sounds? Where are the explosion sounds? or better yet, where are the explosions?

Perhaps people are ignoring the possibility that this video was released to just for the gameplay. That is what I was thinking when I saw all of the unfinished and/or missing screen effects.

People expect something worthwhile from NG Dev Team/Hucast? This is aimed squarely at collectors and all of those "OMG a Dreamcast game in 2013?! Shut up and take my money!" retards. People who can't discern a quality game from, well, one that simply exists.

I see they even went an extra mile this time, as well as the RE and LE there's now also an even higher priced CE. Superplay included! Or rather in all likelihood, "we let Plasmo play our game for a bit and recorded it". I'm surprised they're not bundling all three editions in one package (like they've done in the past) for that super expensive, extra collecting goodness!

Nice little racket they've got going. Stick this garbage on XBLIG where it belongs and see how it fares.

Or to people like me who love my dreamcast and would be happy to play new good games on it. Im not a collector by any means, I will get the RE version.
So I see nothing wrong with people that point out negative things they wanna see fixed, so they can make a good game. So why wouldn't HuCast be able to do this to a great game.
NG:Devs Fast Striker and Gunlord are two great games!

Maybe I just interpret your post wrong but you seem angry or something.

Ugh, Facebook. There's an entire episode of South Park that describes exactly why I don't use Facepalm.

Exactly. I'm not going to buy a game that's been released for the DC just for the sake of buying a new game in 2013 for the system. If something like Jamestown would be released on the DC, I'd go for it. I'll never bother with anything from NG "The only reason you cretins don't like Last Hope is because you're all a bunch of uncivilized Philistines who can't appreciate true art" Dev Team.

For the record, I'm not even a huge DDP fan. I own DP for the PS1 and DDP for the Saturn. That's it. I never got around to buying DOJ for the PS2, and now that the price is way too high, I'll likely never buy it.

Wow I had no life if I would post about every game I don't want to buy.

That water is doing the jitterbug.

The weapons are clearly a ripoff of V-V

The weapons are clearly a homage to V-V

I like the variety of different bullets, far better than those eyesores in Sturmwind.

Come on Trap, you're better than this... at least post a funny picture!

It has potential but the pink bullets are ghetto and need to go and it needs to be sped up - it's like a lazy Euro version of a JP shmup atm.

Thanks for keeping the shmups forum a mature place to discuss games. Your mom should be proud that you've expanded your global worldview by subjecting yourself to nasty pornography from other cultures.

I actually don't recall ever posting in any NG Dev Team thread on here. Funny that you would remember my posts so clearly.

Paradigm has been warned and temporarily banned before for personal attacks against other members, and since it seems the lessons aren't sinking in, he will not be gracing the forum with his presence anymore. This should not be something trap15 wants to be associated with...
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

It's like 8 months later! Has there really not been any more news or screenshots on this title in the meantime?

The most recent items for Ghost Blade that I see on the blog are from April 2013 - about 8 months ago? I'm not particularly interested in Dux/Redux.
