Any Pro Wrestling fans here? I'm a fan of the classic Attitude Era-2004 WWE. I also enjoy TNA from time to time. I watch alot of the BJW Uploads on Youtube as well as the classic stuff from WCW and what not.

I tried to watch the current WWE stuff, although there are some nice gimmicks and talented wrestlers I couldn't really get into it. Just like you I prefer the Attitude Era. TNA isn't my kind of thing. At the moment I like to watch Puro, CZW and some German things.

Not a big fan of WWE of today, not because of the PG-stuff but the writing has been horrible last couple of years. I still watch Raw and Smackdown every week, mostly because of Punk and Bryan. Trying to get as much ROH and TNA as possible as well, ROH is still the greatest "pure" wrestling out there.

My feelings on Dave Batista returning are mixed. It means one of two things; Signs that WWE will finally drop this kid friendly crap, or the animal is a fucking traitor to his own words.

I never gave much for his explanation for leaving WWE. If it had been only about PG he could have jumped ship to TNA. They where (and still is) TV-14 and they where throwing money around themself at the time. The PG-era is here to stay, but I still have high hopes for Batistas return. Watching him powerbomb Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania would be epic.

Am I the only one who sees Kofi Kingston as a buried Alternative to AJ Styles? He definitely has the ability and the charisma ( Remember his short feud with Orton? ). He just needs some polishing on his mic skills, and a DAMN WORLD TITLE REIGN for once. I find it insane that this guy has been Multiple Tag/US/Intercontinental Champ and yet he still hasn't landed the big one

WWE's booking has been horrible for at least 5 months now, but they've also been putting out some great matches, so I can't complain too much. I just hope Bryan's 'heel turn' is a swerve they're doing to setup a Bryan vs. Bray match at the Rumble. Bryan's been the most popular guy in the company for a while now, it doesn't make sense to turn him.


NJPW, on the other hand, has been amazing in recent years. Wrestle Kingdom 8 is only three days away and it's the most hyped I've been for a wrestling show since WrestleMania 20/21, I'd wager. All of the title matches (and Shibata vs. Goto) should be good at the very least, but Tanahashi vs. Nakamura is going to be fucking amazing. Can't wait.

Although AJ Styles might be either really gone from TNA, or some major swerve is on the way, Austin Aries could easily fill in as TNA company face. Guys got a shitload of charisma, is intelligent outside the ring as well as inside, and seems like a likable guy.

I was a fan of ECW and WCW in the late 90's, but haven't watched wrestling since WCW went to shit and ECW drove itself off the cliff. I still watch the occasional old match on youtube and the handful of PPV's I recorded on VHS back in the day. CZW seems up my alley, but I just don't care to follow it, I'd rather just randomly watch matches on the internet.
