A sad day for me, as "The Karate Kid" was ace! (in a crap cheesy 80s teen movie sort of way).

Very sad day for me  Rest in peace Noriyuki. I was hoping for another Karate Kid film to be made staring me, but now my dreams are crushed. Man, this sucks.

My friend and I damn near cried when we saw this news in the paper. >.>
The radio said, "No, John. You are the demons."
And then, John was a zombie.

Pat Morita wrote:"One day I was an invalid," he recalled in a 1989 AP interview. "The next day I was public enemy No. 1 being escorted to an internment camp by an FBI agent wearing a piece."
That sucks. Spinal tuberculosis, then being shipped off to an internment camp. RIP Pat.

Pat Morita was the man - I've been a fan of the Karate Kid movies (as well as his Happy Days stuff & his work on M.A.S.H.). RIP man.

Yeah, I was super sad about this...he used to be a stand-up comic, and I bet he was pretty good. In all the interviews and appearances I've seen of him, he seemed like a really nice and original guy. Hard to think he was like 53 in the original Karate Kid.

I think the last TV thing he did was a voice of himself on Robot Chicken on adult swim.

This is sad. :( RIP Pat.

His character Mr. Miyagi in the Karate Kid series is perhaps its true star. IMO Daniel Larusso could have been easily recast if Ralph Macchio were to back out, but Pat was definitely irreplaceable. I've seen the first two KK movies and the Next Karate Kid (with Hilary Swank), but not part III. Part II is my favorite one out of all four.
Kinect? KIN NOT.
