Re: GD: Don★Paccin basics
More on combining (breeding? lol) robos please!
I seem to be getting a lot of duplicates, and not sure if combining identical robos gives the best results?

I haven't seen any options for combining different types. When I click on one the only option that has shown up so far is dupes at the bottom.

Re: GD: Don★Paccin basics
I just figured out the Upgrade button stuff, that is where you can add several into 1, you can upgrade the holy hell out of characters. I just brought one up about 8 levels in 1 move. This also clears out free space in your Fuse area to be able to unlock more robos. Hope that made sense.
Re: GD: Don★Paccin basics
Is there any way to gain more robo slots past the 32 you can have?

(2x middle fingers)

i guess it increases as you rank up, as it's 36 for me currentlySandlegs wrote:Is there any way to gain more robo slots past the 32 you can have?
Re: GD: Don★Paccin basics
If I have two of the same robo's, is it better to fuse them first before using them for upgrade? Also when upgrading, what does the kanji say in the red bouncing box over some characters?

Re: GD: Don★Paccin basics
I can't answer that exactly but you can fuse 2 of the same later after upgrading so it's not going to be a big loss in the long run. I don't know what the kanji is but I think it's something along the lines of, it's best to fuse with this one because it's the same color code.
It looks like it's never worth buying the 5,000 coin red bubble. The money is much better spent on running upgrades and you can easily unlock all the cheap robos you want by replaying old levels.
-----------------
I think there is a scoring strategy in avoiding stars until you max out a gem stock but it's hard to do when they suck in. If you remove your finger from the screen it stops sucking them in so I think this is the key to scoring. Maybe even using multiple color characters on a level and building multiple up, so you can bank out in the RPG battle. When you first hit a new level you pretty much just need to pass it before gas runs out but when you go back to old levels to try and get all 3 trophies, I think this might be the strategy to use. It also unlocks more R characters when you demolish a level like this.

Always fuse before upgrading: if you upgrade and then fuse later, the fusing progress resets the robo's level to 1, so the upgrades have been a waste.
When upgrading, the red bouncing kanji box indicates that the robo has a similiar special attribute and using it for the upgrading will give you a chance to upgrade that special attribute for the robo you're upgrading.
Lol what a sentence, donpaccin is some broken english madness for me

Re: GD: Don★Paccin basics
I hadn't noticed that. That's incredibly annoying, especially with R/SR etc. characters. I've only ever had 1 R character even have a robo release that could star upgrade it. So you can't help but power them up before fusing, otherwise you won't be able to pass levels.
It looks like when you upgrade characters you are better off waiting until you can afford to merge a bunch of them into 1 character at once vs. merging in 1 at a time, you get a better money deal per character merge. There are probably a lot of little things like this.
I don't think they will do an English translation of this game. There is too much text and too many daily things getting added.

It's from claiming the item on the mission page that looks like a white square with a red plus sign. It adds 4 slots for each item.Cagar wrote:i guess it increases as you rank up, as it's 36 for me currentlySandlegs wrote:Is there any way to gain more robo slots past the 32 you can have?

From what I've gathered, after you have someone on your friend list if you use each others' characters as your extra you can get coin bundles for playing with a friend. I friend everybody.Cagar wrote:
And at the end of the mission, you will be asked if you want to add the guy whose robo you used to your friendlist?
err what the heck? Why would you want to do that? No idea, but you might want to pick the right selection, which is No.

Re: GD: Don★Paccin basics
The friending stuff ends up paying off over and over. Friend icons start popping up on different stages, I guess where they used you as their extra on a stage and you can click the icons and get AP boosts on top of the extra coin packs that get sent to you. It definitely seems beneficial to friend everybody when asked unless someone can show me a downside.
Note: There is a max number you can have on your friend list though, so at some point you have to kick people off apparently.

Re: GD: Don★Paccin basics
Sorry for being stupid, but where can I find fuse and upgrade? I know the one where you can level up one robo by putting in up to 8 others. Where is the other one? The moon language makes it kinda difficult
. Also: There are 3 pages in the friends section... but it doesn't matter what button I click, nothing happens...

Re: GD: Don★Paccin basics
The one where you can level up by adding up to 8 others is the upgrade. The fuse is clicking the bottom right button instead of the bottom left in the prior menu. If it's possible to fuse a character then you have to have a spare of the same type and after you select one, an identical one will show up in the bottom section at which point you can click on it, a check mark will appear and if you have enough coins to pay for the fuse you can ok it.
In the friends section, it's mostly info of what you've already done. If there is anything for you to do there will be a number flag that pops up for the 3rd tab. Most of the stuff you need to do for friend stuff is more in-game, who you chose before entering a stage and choosing yes (left option) after clearing one.
By the way if any number flag shows up anywhere, there is some freebie you have earned that you haven't unlocked, and depending on how much space you have in the landing section, may stay where it is. For example if you unlock characters in stages and are out of space in your character section, they will stay in your x/200 gift section until you use others up and release them.
You'll "get it" enough, if you keep playing. It's worth it, believe me, to learn.

Re: GD: Don★Paccin basics
So this explains what happened to one of my upgraded "leaders" that suddenly become level 1, I thought something in the game glitched, but I must have fused him. Oh well, I guess grinding the lower levels for upgrade bots is going to become a necessity after all my R robos get fused.Cagar wrote:Always fuse before upgrading: if you upgrade and then fuse later, the fusing progress resets the robo's level to 1, so the upgrades have been a waste.
