I had it on my list for Q4/2013, but then I invested my time in PiJamma and the PCB version of the Supergun MAK Strike. The new PCB version of the Supergun MAK Strike will contain some PCB trace improvements, enabling and disabling of audio attentuation, breakout points for Button 4-6 handling, especially for the ELF multigame PCBs plus some fixes for parts assembly.
Finally we`re working on a SNES2Neogeo Controller Adapter. This way simple SNES game controller can be used with superguns. First PCB prototype is done and now we do the integration from development / testing environment to PCB level.

I've had this done for a while now, just never got time to release it I can't get a hold of SNES controller ports for the PCB and I don't feel like stripping the extension cables.
Cool. It was quite vice versa approach for me. I was thinking about such a project for a while but never touched it because of the difficulty to source this part. Last year I was able to source a batch. The trouble is that there is a left and right hand side version of this ports.
I have a mak strike from 2012 with audio attentuation built in, which is giving me problems.specifically: i dont get any sound from ibara. Pcb Works fine in other setups and the mak strike works good with other pcbs. What would be the easiest option to disable audio attentuation for the scart port?
For the new upcoming version I`ve added an bypass for the audio attentuation. For the version from 2012 (MAK Strike v2 is my internal identifier) I can give you an adapter, that grabs the audio directly from your PCB. Otherwise a wire-fix is needed.
Hey, did you figure out yet how to disable the audio circuit on the supergun? I dont mind cutting some traces on the supergun (not the games!) or whatever, i just want sound from my SH3 boards...
I know this is a stupid question but on the MAK Strike V3, it has a Molex power port which looks like I could power it with a ATX power supply. Is this possible or do you need an arcade PSU regardless, and if you do what's the whole point of the Molex power jack?

I think it was made with a ATX power supply in mind (hence the molex connector) but I recommend a Arcade psu as you can't adjust +5v with a ATX power supply. You just have to strip a molex connector from a ATX power supply and fit it onto the Arcade psu. It's pretty straight forward.
Can it take a neo geo CD pad? I ask because I know some neo CD pads use +5V whereas others don't and don't want to accidentally damage the controller ports or anything else this way.
Also if i prepare a 6 button Genesis controller for a Neo Geo controller port, i assume doing the standard supergun preparation of wiring the buttons up directly and removing the IC is all i need to do?
