Overscan on Saturn Battle Garegga

Post by MrOldSchoolCool »

I bought this game a year ago and wasn't quite able to get into it. Also, it had overscan (about a half inch missing from each side in TATE. Tried everything with multiple tvs and settings and couldn't get rid of it) and so I sold it after a while. Well, I started playing it again on MAME and am starting to get the mechanics down (controlling rank, medal chaining and whatnot). So, I am tempted to get it again but I wonder if I am better off just playing the MAME version since I've got a USB controller I'm really happy with. The emulation seems to be pretty accurate.

Opinions? Thanks guys.

I just fix the over/under scan in games by adjusting the HSIZ/VSIZ and HPOS/VPOS in the TV's service menu.

The saturn port is great, general consensus is that it has less input lag than the PCB.
