I'm switching to all SMD chips, so the form factor could end up being small enough to make that work.

I'm not entirely sure what you are asking, but the product will be sold from the US, and International shipping will be available. I have no shipping $ estimates at this time, and naturally won't until right before the board is released.

I didn't think it'd be as simple as currency exchange because applying another price of its own to a certain country instead is common.

Realized tonight that the phrase "Retro Pix" comes up a lot in Google for other uses, such as "retro pictures", etc.

So the working name for the time being is changing to the "Raster480"

I might change the name again, or it might stick. Not really sure, I'll think about it once the product is ready for release.

One name that would have fit really well would be the "RetroVGA", but of course there is already a SLG product that bears that moniker. ;)

Yes! Unfortunately already taken as you thought. It is software that lets you take a photo and print it out as a grid of 8x11" squares for creating a supersize wall photo.

I know. I use it at work on occasion. My boss loves the output but hates the name XD

Or how about a fun name?

I was so disappointed when it was revealed that the XRGB-mini's final name wouldn't be FLAME MEISTER.

So RasterBator wouldn't be fun, had it not already been used?

Muchi as in 無恥な (shameless) or 無知な (ignorant)? Sounds awesome in English but might not be the best idea :P
