CAVE 360 US/EU releases - What's missing?

I want to get myself Akai Katana and Deathsmiles for Xmas, but after reading some reviews, I'm confused (BTW, my system is Jailbreak'd, so it'll play regardless of the region).

Does Akai Katana(US/EU) have the voice over DLC from the 1st press jap. release? Is there anything else missing/avaiable as DLC?

In regards to Deathsmiles, which version to get? I read that the US one doesn't have some slowdowns and its texts mimicks accents (which I think is pretty cool). The EU release "fix" the slowdown issues, but is it selectable? The text was fixed, but is it selectable too? Anything else missing in comparison to everything avaiable in the jap. release?

The US version of Deathsmiles was patched a long time ago and is not missing any slowdowns with the patch. There is no option to turn the fixes in the patch on or off, though you can choose not to install the patch or delete it from the queue.

What's this about accents? I've heard this before but never understood what they meant. I have the pal version and never noticed anything.
