Would a harddrive that is SATA II, and has the dimensions 0,95 x 6,98 x 10 cm work in a PS3 Original?

yes, it does.

9.5mm (or 0,95 cm) is the max height apparently - the other dimensions are simply standard depth x width of all 2.5" drives and do not change. 12.5mm or 15mm drives apparently will not work, just watch out for those.
