My first JAMMA supergun

Post by ninjainspandex »

so after meeting up with Mjmjr25 at the racketboy meetup, I was really inspired to get a supergun. I was contacted by a man on Shmups.com who goes by the handle RGB. He made me a custom supergun that outputs composite, S-video, and RGB. It has Sega Saturn inputs which is perfect for the classic street fighter layout, but that layout isn't that great for for the Neo Geo which is what I play the most. So he included a jamma adapter that remapped the buttons on the Saturn controller to be identical to the Neo Geo CD pad, pure perfection. Here are the results, needless to say I'm very pleased with them :D.

I can't believe I own all the original Metal Slug games now so affordably, I think the only one that was over $50 was 5 which was around $80

The Saturn inputs, the most comfortable way to game.

The back with the Jamma input and AV out. The AV out has an adapter that lets me use PS1 composite and S-video cables. Also came with a proprietary Scart cable. I forget what he numbers mean on the back, I think it has something to do with voltage. Just looks cool to me haha.

Glorious RGB on my 47 inch HDTV via XRGB-mini with scanlines.

Question!

What are the wires going from the harness underneath the MVS in the 2nd pic?
