I want a shmup tat, but I don't know what to get. Was that tat done by a 8-year-old kid? Kinda sloppy, but very cool. :D

I'd have to get paid (a lot) to have my body defiled. That's my stance on tattos.

I actually agree with this. I could never do something that permanent to my body, and I really don't find tattoos attractive.

I don't mind seeing tattoos in general but that one looks really stupid. Looks like a 4th grade crayon drawing by Napolean Dynamite.

I pulled the pic from another forum. Apparently, the guy who got it had a friend do it instead of paying the money to have it professionally done, that's why the art is so bad.

It had the potential to be so good... did the subject scan his son's coloring book for that image?

Yep. That just says it all. Basically...

Salamander + Booze + Tattoo-making gear = That.

I don't know. I'm going to have to disagree a little. The cheapness kind of adds to the allure.
NTM it could always be "touched up" a little...

Yes. The wearer of that tattoo is far more bold than any of you nancyboys that have taken time to register your pitiful little words of disgust online.

Defiled?
Yeah, that's a word.
ahhaahahah, I know it's a word.

I thought it was related to religion but I was wrong (went and looked it up).

"To make filthy or dirty; pollute." and my favorite "To violate the chastity of." hahahaahah

Yeah, it does. I play it on the Saturn. Really tricky to 1CC, but I believe I'll get it done someday.

Then I'll get a big Salamander 2 tattoo done on my bum.

Oooh, yeah!

In defiance of all people who say that Blair Witch sucked i got the symbol tattooed on my right shoulder...

Image

I think the first one was an excellent movie and the second would have been pretty cool if they just hadn't made it 'part 2' and instead considered it a spinoff...

Anyway - i'd be all for getting a shmup tattoo if i had a cool enough design. I would like to get the Moai's tattooed on my back looking all ominous and looming...

As long as the guy doing it had alot of expierience...

Love Salamander 1 and 2, but I prefer not to express my love by way of tatoos. In part because my wife would kick my ass if I got one.

Mostly I think guys get tatoos as a symbol of their toughness and less as an expression of their love of something. That's fine with me. But you can see my toughness just by looking into my eyes. Got through graduate school, and can deal with two young kids... bring it on. I'm a tough motherfucker. That is, until I get a cold or hurt my back... then you'll hear me complaining like the wimp that I am.

Whoa...both of those tattoos, in the same thread. That's akin to 'crossing the streams' in Ghostbusters.

You can sure see my toughness when you notice the big Beavis and Butthead tattoo on my shin.

It's great Andy Kaufman humor walking around with "bad tatts". You get to learn alot about the neuroses that other people carry around.

Early 1999. Though I got it for me, the reactions I get from others are priceless. Even though I have some crazy nice tattoos as well, I think I like the shitty ones best.

Actually it is very very well done by one of the top tattoo talents in the world, Jeff Rassier. I flew to SF just to bang this broad and get that tattoo.

I live the dream :D
